Emily + Alex • Dallas, TX
Emily and Alex shared a fun fact with us: they met while walking their corgi and husky! Is there even a better way to meet your future spouse than by walking your dogs?! That sounds pretty darn great to us.
This monochromatic bouquet of unbloomed white peonies is pure elegance! When Emily shared these photos with us from her wedding day, her style of bouquet made perfect sense. We think she looks stunning, and her dress and bouquet are so elegant, sleek and classic all at once.
We’ve never had a bouquet in our studio made with just a single type of flower, so this posed a challenge for us - and we love a good challenge! By the time we received Emily’s bouquet, the peonies had started to open a little bit, so it was imperative we move quickly to stop them from opening further. We couldn’t fit more than five peonies in the hexagon bouquet artwork, so to add some shape and interest, we removed the leaves from the underside of the peonies and added them to the artwork, and stacked one of the blooms on top of the others. This ended up filling the space nicely without making it looked packed in. We’re really happy with the final result!
