Corinne + Robert • Chicago, IL
Corinne and Robert met at work in Chicago. He’s from the Midwest and a Cubs fan, so she wanted to incorporate some blue prairie flowers into her bouquet. We love the idea of including personal touches like this!
Corinne opted for the rectangle bouquet artwork in a full composition, so we maximized the space with as many florals as we could, while still maintaining a thoughtful design. Her florals included bunny tails that were dyed blue, so this is a great example of how artificially colored florals will react in resin. Resin begins as a liquid and slowly cures to a solid state. As dyed florals sit in that liquid the pigment starts to run off, creating colored streaks throughout the artwork. For more information on this and other ways florals change throughout the process, please review our FAQ page. We think the colorful streaks add a fun and interesting element to the final artwork, and we always get great responses to it. Everyone loves it!
