Allison + Charles • Harrisburg, PA

Allison, who is an absolute sweetheart, by the way, shared with us a bit about their wedding style and special touches: “Charles and I got married at Historic King Mansion on October 15, 2022. Charles has very modern taste, whereas I'm more bohemian and romantic. So, when we found this 1920s mansion that was updated and art deco, we felt like it was perfectly symbolic of our styles in one space. It was a warm fall day - sunny and 75 degrees! We wanted the colors and florals to feel fall, but emphasis on the lighter more muted colors that come with that season. We loved working with Misha [of Woodland Floral Design Co.] because she nailed the textures and blend of colors with dried elements and toffee roses. My bridal bouquet was particularly important to me because it was a way of subtly honoring my mother that passed away from cancer when I was 18 years old. I pinned a small photo of my mom to the handle of the bouquet so that she could be walking down the aisle with me in spirit. I'm so in love with the way that the photo was able to be captured in this keepsake as a memory I'll always cherish!”

Woodland Floral Design Co. is another one of our Preferred Florists and we’re sure you can see why! Misha puts great thought into the florals she curates and is a true artist in designing her bouquets and installations. Check out the photos below and you’ll see what we mean!

Allison and Charles’ artwork collection included the hexagon Wedding Bouquet Preservation artwork and the small faceted ring holder. We included the photo of Allison’s mother that was pinned to her bouquet, and we are in love with how this artwork turned out!
